Honda Acura Trailing Arm Bushing Remover Installer Review

This tool made it possible for me to change the RTA bushings on my '93 Civic without removing the trailing arms from the car, however the instructions were not much help. They mentioned an eight inch spacer but did not show or explain where it should go. I found it easy enough to remove the old bushing but not until I removed the upper control arm mounting and ground a taper on the inner edge of the bushing did I succeed in proper installation. The second side took an hour and a half. I'm not telling how long the first one took. I do not have a lift. This was done working with jack and stands in the driveway. I figure I saved at least $250 by doing the job myself as compared to having a garage do it, and my wife's car will need bushings soon, so the tool was well worth the price.

I have since replaced the trailing arm bushings on another car, a '97 Civic. This time the job went very well and probably took no more than three hours for both sides. In my opinion you'd be a fool to pay someone the price they ask to do this job. Buy the tool and do it yourself. Google search "Replace Honda Civic Trailing Arm Bushings" and watch a few of the videos. That should be all the information you need to make a good job of it.

The Yakima Fork Lift Rooftop Bike Rack is so far the best fork mount style rooftop rack that I have seen or used. One of the nicest features with this rack is that it mounts to factory cross bars as well as aftermarket round or square bars. It mounted very easily to my Subaru factory bars. The skewer mechanism is easily tightened and locked with one hand which leaves your other hand free to hold the bike steady or eat a burger. I also added the lock core to ensure that the fork skewer remains closed during travel. I spent way too much time comparing different racks but I am very glad that I purchased this one!

This is a very nice helmet for the money. i tried on several helmets priced under $200, the LS2 386 was the most comfortable. it,s been six months since i purchased, it's a little noisy at freeway speeds, but i always wear earplugs on the freeway with any helmet anyway. Nothing has broken or come loose, it,s still just as comfortable, and i found lots of parts on the internet for it to upgrade etc. I never owned a flip face helmet before, i would purchase again......
