Bosch 69746 Original Equipment Replacement Electric Fuel Pump Review

This pump was purchased for a 1999 Volvo S80 T6 2.8 Twin Turbo. My fuel pump (69746)mounts on the passenger side of the tank and this pump worked perfect. When I removed the old pump it appeared that someone had replaced it in the past and routed the hoses toward the trunk instead of the front seats. The plastic hoses had kinked and burned out the pump. I have two pieces of advice for those installing their own pump. 1. When you remove old pump tie a string to the secondary pickup before you remove the pump. When you install the new pump use the string to route the hose back to the secondary level sensor on the drivers side. 2. Make sure you route the new hose toward the front seats in a "U" shape. if it goes toward the trunk it will eventually kink and starve the pump.
