I bought this to use as a box for the winch on my trailer. It can be made to work for that, but the stated dimension of 34.5 is not true. It's more like 32. That means more trimming on my winch bracket to make things fit. The 34.5 dimension was one of the reasons I chose this box over some others that were listed as 32 inches. If the dimension was as stated, I'd probably rate it 5 stars.
