I bought this radio to replace the stock tuner in my Porsche 996. My primary criteria were that the head unit have as little bling as possible (so no chrome), that it have a USB input source, that it offer random play, and that the display color could be set to match the other displays in my car (amber, in a Porsche). The CZ702 was really the ONLY unit that I found that met all my criteria. There are some things about the CZ702 that weren't obvious from all my research. First, the HD antenna must be purchased separately. It's the Clarion THD301. Second, random play only works against the entire CD/USB drive; you cannot randomly play within a single folder. This was very disappointing to me, as I had to buy multiple USB thumb drives to keep my various genres separate. I don't want to randomly play between my classical music tastes and my pop music collection, for example. I felt that the limited random play ability was a major disappointment. Finally, the USB input is at the end of a 18" extension cable, so you can place the connector conveniently within the cabin.
I am happy with the CZ702. The output is much higher quality than the original radio in the Porsche. I don't feel the need to upgrade my speakers/amplifier after installing this radio.
