I placed these on the back bumper of my 32 foot RV/Motor home in order to protect my dump tanks and trailer hitch when going over a steep drive or road. Work very well. The weld plate will need to be painted with a non-rust material for longer life. I did not weld mine (but did paint them); I used bolts.
