With the add-on locks, it feels like it would be secure against a snatch-and-grab thief, but not a determined pro. I'm not going to test it to its breaking point though. With no bike in the fork skewer, you need to tighten the locknut for the rack to be locked to your roof, and then loosen again before you load a bike. That's a bit of a nuisance, because it would be nice to not have to fiddle with the locknut.

Yep that is what they are, and they are OEM, the wife and I had them installed in about 5 min.... I am going to look into replacing the securing screw knobs with hex head screws that will require a tool to move or remove the rails, as the rails could easily be removed by any unscrupulous thief passing by wiht the current knerled knobs...
The rails look good and fit well and match the vehicle perfectly...
