I got the Curt hitch from Amazon to go with the wiring harness from Trends-Auto (another review for a 56151 T-Connector). The hitch had all the installation instructions for the new 2013 Santa Fe. The wiring harness placed the plugs to the passenger side of the body (true for 2012) but the hitch called it correctly for the Driver side location of the wiring plugs. The rest of the instructions were spot on and very accurate. It took me about a hour to do the entire install of the hitch. I was by myself, no helpers, no jacks or lifts. The hardest part was torqueing the fasteners to the correct foot/lbs.

If you use the 56151 T-Connector and this hitch, you can do all the work from underneath the car. No removing tail-lights like other connectors call for. Before I hook up a trailer I am taking a short (about 250 miles) trip and re-torque the fasteners.

This was really one of the easiest and fastest hitch and wiring installs I have ever done! Oh, and it looks good too being a round tube hitch. How many have I done? Over a dozen on my cars and trucks. I'm 65.
