This is an authentic, quality motorcycle jacket that has rider safety in mind. I was very satisfied with the purchase. Some Pros: real 100% buffalo leather that is thick enough to protect the rider in the event of a crash; a removable 100% polyester inner-liner that feels great; vented zipper ports on the chest to allow for air flow; extra leather padding around the elbows- good for safety; all of the zippers are solidly made and zip up with no problems; there are two spacious inner pockets with buttons; the etching on the back is unique- somehow integrated into the leather so it doesn't rip off or require maintenance like some decorations do (I don't know or own a lot of leather jackets but this one is unique with the etching). The etching itself is protruding somewhat from the leather, like it was heated up to do that... the etching is not tearing into the leather nor does the leather appear to be damaged it in any way because of it. The etching is a nice decorative touch. The only con I can think of is the front zipper- it protects somewhat against wind with a short flap of leather on the inside but it cannot be buttoned (and that's really reaching for a con). Now, I have purchased other supposed motorcycle jackets on Amazon that cost a lot less and those turned out to be non-leather fashion jackets with no utility for motorcycle riding what-so-ever which created a lot of disappointment. This jacket is not a fashion jacket- it is a real quality leather motorcycle jacket worth the cost that I was very impressed with. Bottom line, if I saw this jacket in a motorcycle store I would buy it.
