this is perfect for mud, or even tough sand, but if you are on a beach or in the desert, it just plows... no amount of water, angle changing or weight on the thing will get it to just stay there and pull you out... its also really really heavy... carrying it around when going offroading can create quite a mess...all in all, if you are buying this to get yourself out of a sandy situation, call a friend... its really not worth it.
Otherwise, as an idea it needs some refinement.
