ACDelco 15771354 Hummer H2 Rear Passenger Side Window Regulator Assembly Review

I received the product from Amazon very well packed, The installation on my H2 HUMMER RT Rear Passenger Window Regulator was very straight forward and easy. The total time too install took 15 minutes and thats with removing the RT Rear door panel and a couple of hand tools required to complete the job,
1) 1/4 Racheet with 8" extension and a 10mm and 12mm socket.
2) Cross Point screw driver about 6" long
3) Duct Tape to hold the window up in the full closed position while the Window Regulator is being installed.

Remove your door panel and upper door plastic molding not attached to the door panel, the door panel will have one Phillips screw that will have to be removed to gain access to the inner door panel screws located behind the inside door handle "Screws 10mm"
After removing the Phillips screw and the two 10mm bolts you can now begain to remove the door panel by placing a butter knife between the door panle and the door frame working your way around the door while seperating door panel from frame being held in place by Plastic inserts.
Once door panel is free you must remove two electrical connections from door panel one for the Window Switch and the second for the door panel light.
Once removed you will have to gain access to the inner door frame by removing the plastic covering, with this step complete you will have to locate TWO Bolts that secure the lower window to the Regulator frame two bolts 12mm heads loosen and manually lift the window to the full Closed/Up position and apply Duct Tape from the inside of the window to over the top of the Window/Door frame and attaching it the the out side of the window this will allow the window to stay up and out of your way while you R&R the Window Regulator Frame, the New Window Ragulator will have all Hardwear required already mounted : )
Remove your Duct Tape and lower your window onto the New Window Regulator Frame just installed and secure the bolts that clamp the window onto the frame "CAUTION" DO NOT over tighten these bolts becuase you could Shatter the Window itself during this process "NOTE" these bolts only require 25inch lbs of torque which is nothing more than tight! secure all hardwear and run the window thru a couple of times before completing the rest of the work in reverse.

Monroe 171597 Front Suspension Strut and Coil Spring Assembly Review

I just installed these for a 2003 Honda Odyssey. These are the Monroe sensa-trac quick struts. It was a breeze. took me 2.5 to 3 hours to do both front with new stabilizer links and brake pads. If you can afford the extra money, I would recommend these. Saves alot of time and you have the added safety of not removing the springs. You also get new springs and top hat which has a bushing in it. The ride is definitely improved, although improved is defined differently for each of us. It is firmer, but not in a bad way. It takes small bumps alot better. The big bumps or potholes have always been bad for Odyssey's, that hasn't changed. There is less body roll and it seems the road noise has improved, maybe having to do with all new parts in the assembly.

Seriously, its 5 bolts, then the brake line (it unbolts and slides out so you don't have to bleed them) then the stabilizer bar link and it's out. Do the reverse and buy a cheap torque wrench from harbor freight tools. The only thing about the Odyssey was looking for a 22mm wrench and socket, but that was a quick trip to SEARS and then I returned them right afterwards (I know that's not right, but I did buy some other tools when I returned them).

Remember to replace the stabilizer bar links while you are in there. You have to remove one side anyways and they are really cheap.

The ride has not changed much from new. It does seem to chatter a little more than new over rough roads (rebound dampening not holding as well), but still takes the small bumps well. Its been hard to tell more from it since my wheel bearing is starting to humm. I am still pleased with this product and would recommend over dealer prices. Only thing is I think the original spring is a better product, especially with chattering this has started to develope.

Okay, time to face a little reality - If your butt gets sore while riding your motorcycle there is nothing in this world that will completely eliminate that. Apparently some of us were just not born for the saddle. I've tried everything to make my ride more comfortable. Got rid of the stock seat and bought an expensive, and supposedly more comfortable one....that helped a little. Bought a gel pad for the seat...that helped a little. Bought a more expensive sheepskin gel pad...that helped a little more. But none of these things kept me from getting to the "Okay, I need to get off the bike" point after an hour of riding.

I love riding my motorcycle and there is nothing better than a long ride on the open road, but quite frankly my butt issues were making it so the joy of riding was just becoming a pain in the...you know. I did a little research and came across the Airhawk. At first I thought the price was much too expensive, but I figured if it actually works, I don't care how much it costs me. The good news - it does work, and quite well. As I said, I believe that if you are cursed with a tender butt, nothing is gonna stop at least a little discomfort, but the Airhawk comes closer - by far - than anything else I have tried. I recently did a 5 hour ride (a ride that would have killed me prior to getting the Airhawk) and I am happy to report that my butt and I survived just fine. Little numbness, only slight discomfort - and after the ride I felt like I had not been riding at all. Usually I would have been dreading getting on the bike the next day for the ride home but(t) I felt no lasting discomfort from the day before. "Bottom" line is: The Airhawk works, and at least for me, it's made a HUGE difference in my riding comfort. So nice to be able to "enjoy the ride" instead spending the whole time thinking "My Azz is killing me!".

Note: Getting the correct air in the Airhawk is key. I have found that having the absolute minimum is best...just enough so that your butt is raised off the seat, but not so much that you actually feel like you are sitting on a raised cushion.

Stalwart 75-4650 Oversized Portable Tool Chest, Three Tool boxes in One Review

I was able to take 3 "bags" of tools & parts and now pull as one. Relatively large wheels and sturdy handle are welcome. center box locks to handle giving even more support. Generally well designed and built for the price and makes a good impression. I have used a baggage strap to put yet another bag on top without difficulty. It assembles in a few moments and is sturdy. I would definitely buy it again. It is the best current combination of size, utility and cost I know and can easily fit into any trunk.

exceptions.... It is NOT designed to go up steps. If you need a toolbox that MUST be pulled up even a few steps this is not it. The first time I did, I dented the body at the bottom where on the handle side just above the plastic bottom. I found if I have more than just a few steps I disassemble and cary it up. If I pull up a couple steps, I do it VERY CAREFULLY. When stopping and standing it upright, the bottom hits the ground before expected! Therefore even though there are large wheels, it still has less clearance than expected and it is unusual that the bottom is squared off so you have this abrupt on/off the wheels. This does not seem to be a problem as much as it is a surprise. The metal latches are stiff (new), but work well.

Now after a year, the thing pretty much fell apart. This is not for heavy weight, nor long distances, nor serious on the go all the time. The handle came off in 3 months for the final time. The top box latches don't work correctly and the tongues that holds them aligned both broke off. The bottom "bin" "Pins", made out of plastic, both came out often. The quality is just not for a mobile professional to carry tools, and mine are not so heavy....mainly a couple drills and mostly electrical testing equipment.

If you want wheels, this needs a handle that will stay on the box. I'm disgusted that I have to put the whole thing on a rolling cart now.
