I love this helmet, the button flap under the chin is genious, it cuts wind down. I love the shade visor, it is so great that I can wear my prescription glasses under it. The flip up is secure and sturdy. The Wind noise is pretty loud but I ride at freeway speeds with no bike shield so it is going to be really windy. Modular helmets seem to have more wind noise in general but I wear earplugs anyways. I doubt, even if you bought a modular Shoei it would be quiet. For that reason I gave this high marks. Also, it is very comfortable, the padding is very sturdy, it does not feel cheep... and besides all this it looks sweet. One caution, DO NOT SET THE HELMET ON CONCRETE. The day I it arrived I set it, not dropped it, but set it on the sidewalk top down and it scratched the matte black finish right off in a small spot. So just be careful. Buy with confidence.
