I purchased this item a couple months ago and finally installed it once my set up was ready in the car. First off the correct instructions did not come in the box (came with purge solenoid instructions) so I had to reference the internet. Once it was installed I attempted to use is to heat my nitrous bottle, it would turn on for about 5 seconds then shut off for several minutes thus not working to heat the bottle at all. I checked all connections to verify there was nothing lose, it all checks out. My brother bought the same unit from another supplier; as we were set to race the same day he hooked his up for the first time to have the very same problem. To get it to work we had to cut the temperature control unit off and bypass the internal wiring, at that point it worked but he lost the automatic feature that this item was purchased for. I am attempting to return mine but I am beyond my deadline so looks like I may be forced to perform surgery on mine so it will at least work manually. Complete waste of money as you can buy the "dumb" heater for about $70 for the NOS brand. I am very disappointed in ZEX, this will likely push me away from any of their other products since I was taking a chance going outside my norm as it were. One bad unit I can understand, but 2 with same problem from different suppliers...no thanks.
