I have other CPS products that have been good. This particular scale ( CC 110 ) has a capacity of 110 lbs. The accuracy is rated +/- point 2 of an ounce. There is also a more accurate scale available, the ( CC 50 ) with a capacity of 55 lbs. That scale's rated accuracy is +/- point zero 5 of an ounce. My scale takes two nine volt batteries (included) which will last 60 continuous hours. If you go to the CPS site, they show two AA batteries. The two AA battery scales must be a newer version. The scale displays the battery level prominently during use. I chose the CC 110 over the CC 50 figuring that it may be less delicate and take the occasional unintended bump better.
