AEM 30-4406 -30-35 PSI Boost Gauge Review

Let me start this review by stating that this is indeed a fine boost gauge, very precise, aesthetically pleasing, and comes with a black or white background for you to choose. Installation was easy, although the silicon pipe may come on short on some applications. It has some I/O port for logging, which I haven't used yet, so I will not delve on that.

The bad: It is so sensitive that i becames somewhat annoying to see the vacuum change from 20 to 19 to 20 to 19 again and again all the time, when the car is in neutral. It would have been awesome if it had some function to mark max boost. The little green light that does the trick of a gauge needle, needs more illumination. Looks quite bright in the picture here, but in reality you will not see it on bright sunlight, specially if you are going 160 mph on the road. Ah, and no led lightning so if it is too dark, you will see the faint green light but no numbers!! (epic design failure!)

For 140 bucks I think you deserve at least better design.
