Micrometer head assures accuracy in feeding. Expands quickly to cylinder size with fast action rack and pinion. Bottom guard plate helps prevent stones from accidentally hitting the crankshaft. Universal joint action makes grinding of back cylinder easy. Clip-on stones and wipers are easily changed in a few seconds. Stones are available in five grits. Use with heavy-duty 1/2 inches drill. Standard range 3 inches to 4-1/4 inches. Big range (2-3/4 inches - 10-1/4 inches) with additional rack sets and stone sets. Long 5 inches stones cut faster, more accurately. Includes the following: Cylinder hone body with 1 set of 15540 standard range rack (range is 3 inches to 4-1/4 inches). 1 set each of 15500 coarse stones and 15510 medium stones, cleaning brush and dressing paddle in a sturdy storage case.

For the price, this is well made. Never had a prob w/Amazon orders. Weighs about 4lbs w/stones. Combine that w/a geared,8amp,550rpm 1/2 drill w/T-handle and yeh better have so muscles. Its about 18" L. Has a hex end for the drill chuck. I wound the rack out all the way and they came off. Trying to set them in again was like a chinese puzzle. You gotta place them in correctly. Instructions tell ya. The aluminum guide block is very well machined and anodized. Extension bar is hefty 9/16"OD chrome steel. Knurled knobs-I took one off and re-knurled. Nice plastic storage box w/SS brush, Coarse set, Med set, and 60grit sand paper-to file stones. Its basically a piece of sand paper glued on a wood board-not very professional, but works.
Only prob I had, is the clip-on stones come loose on the racks. I had to coarse hone a .015" OOR 4"ID tube fairly tight, used both hands to hold. I did this horizontal. This may have opened the clips up.
When the hone was removed from cyl, I have to push the stones back on to start the hone in. Didnt have kerosene or oil, I used WD40 on aluminum. The wipers are getting chewed up also. 1/2 hr use.
But it gets the job done fairly quick. Ill get the 16000 next. These reviews are important to others for purchasing-pls post.
