I purchased this unit with my RV. Well I had good hopes and thought it would work well. It seems to strain when hooking up the weight distribution on a trailer with 640 lb tongue weight. Then one time I went to take the trailer off the truck and the jack had needed to go all the way into the unit so I could get it odf the blocks. Well that worked out ok. but then I went to take it back up and accidently went the wrong way make the jack shear the bolt. I mean not even a bare touch of the thing no popped fuze nothing. Just sheard the geare right off. And whats worse is the design of the sheared bolt will not allow you to manually raise the jack. So in point your out of luck if this happens.Poor design, no warning at all, no popping the fuse. Just internally parts snap. Wonderful design. NOT! I got one weeknd of use out of it.
