Re-reading the other consumers' reviews, I must have been shipped a "boot" way different than what was shipped to them.

I have a heavy-duty 14K pound trailer that I wanted to add another later of security to, so I purchased this item through Amazon because it had received such good reviews!

Immediately out of the box, the thing looked flimsy. Made from tack welded pieces of sheet metal. (I was expecting some hefty solid steel at least for the "arms" of the device.)

I figured I would try to install it anyway to see if it would work.

The arms were too narrow and too shallow to fit over and around my 16" tires and rims! Only the glued on rubber tips of the arms were touching the outtermost portion of the rim lip. Only the rubber padded insides of the sheet metal clamp arms indenting into the tire sidewalls was holding the thing on. The bolt-on (nut and washers missing by the way. Luckily, I had spares laying around.) "cone" was also made of the same thin-gauge sheet metal. After attaching it to the contraption, it WAS centered over my hub (yay!) only to discover the hub protrudes to far (about three inches or so) holding the darn thing far enough and wobbly enough to get a lug nut spanner onto the lug nuts to take them off.

Then, after I have the thing all tightened down and the clamp cover locked, my seven year old walks up with a screw driver and pops the clamp mechanism cover open! And then starts trying to turn the "super-secure" triangle shaped clamping bolt head loose! The same one by the way that is fully exposed for the "hub cover" clamp. You know, the one that didn't cover my lug nuts in the first place?

Needless to say, I will be testing Amazon's return policy on this device as well!

I had also bought this company's keyed alike combo kit and returned it as well. Just not happy with the quality of this company's merchandise.

Unless of course I got shipped the wrong item...?

I recently purchased this jacket to replace a smelly and worn Reactor jacket. I am very pleased! It has many zip open vents which allow for comfortable airflow during summer riding, but during the early fall, on the cool nights, zip it up and you stay warm! It blocks most airflow without the vents unzipped.

I have a fairly large frame, a large t-shirt is snug on me, and I have an XL. It fits very well, not too losse yet loose enough to wear a fleece layer under it with ease.

Padding fits my frame very well and is very comfortable to me on my typical 1-hour one-way trips. I highly recommend this jacket!

Superchips 3570 FlashCal for Jeep Wrangler JK Review

Here is my take on the Flashcal. I originally was looking at the AEV Procal but decided on this unit because of the digital display and additional functions.

Download of the software update worked great, no issues at all (except you have to select the Flashpaq in the drop down box on the superchips site instead of Flashcal, it will, however; show the correct part #3570).

After the update, I plugged in the unit to the OBD port and the Flashcal powered up as expected. I was able to easily select the vehicle function and adjust the tire size.

I then went to the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) and adjusted the tire pressure down to 20 psi.

The unit will instruct you when to turn the ignition system to the on position and will notify when the change has been made.

The whole programming process took about ten minutes. I took the vehicle for a drive and the tire size adjustment worked great. My vehicle now shifts properly and the correct speed is now displayed. However, I am still getting the TPMS light. I will mess with this setting some more and see if I can get this to go away. My main goal was the tire size adjustment, but I do want to get rid of the TPMS indicator that always stays on.

I have not tried any of the other functions, but so far I am pleased with the purchase.

I've had this for about a year and it works great. I recently used it to strip apart a rusted Datsun 1970 240Z...it broke free and removed body bolts that hadn't moved in 40 years with ease...saving my wrists. If you're looking for a flashy Nascar speed wrench for your wheel lugs this may not be it. It IS a powerful electric impact wrench though. I have read the model 293 was souped up to replace the model 292 which had mediocre ratings. Best tool money I've spent in a while...saved me from having to buy a compressor.

I ordered the on board compressor and a set of Air Lift bags for my Chevy 2500hd to see if it would help when braking while pulling my 36ft fifth wheel, when aired up properly the bounce is gone when I apply my camper brakes and they even help level out some rough roads (not all though). If you install them yourself and you are wallowing around on the garage you will spend 4+ hours on the air bags and at least that much time on mounting the compressor and electrical, without some good help. But still saved $300.00 doing it myself.

CDI Torque 2503MFRMH 1/2-Inch Drive Metal Handle Click Type Torque Wrench, Torque Range 30 to 250-Fo Review

I am completely happy with this product. Here is why:

The micrometer adjustment is in 10's around the dial so there is no adding or guessing what your setting is. I have used others in 15 lb graduations and this tool removes the fuss.
Simply pull back on the spring loaded sleeve and rotate the main body to make adjustments. Let go and it locks right in. Others I have used have a locking dial on the handle end which can become loose and you lose your setting. The handle is just the right length for a 250 ft/lb torque wrench. Others I have seen are unnecessarily long, and can be hard to manage. CDI has excellent customer support. I contacted them prior to ordering and a tech spent plenty of time explaining the specifics of their wrenches.

I called the tech for an explanation on accuracy ratings. This wrench is accurate within +/- 4% from 20% to 100% of full scale. My certificate of calibration states values much lower than this (from .5 - 2.5%). 20% to 100% is industry standard though some torque wrench's will be accurate to +/- 3%. In this case 20% of 250 ft/lb is 50 ft/lb. So this tool will be increasingly less accurate the farther below 50 ft/lb you go, or in that bottom 20%. This is due to lack of compression on the spring in the lower range. Really this wrench should be labeled as a 50 - 250 ft/lb wrench, corresponding to the included certificate of calibration (meaning: my cert. of calibration labels this wrench as 50 - 250 ft/lb).

Just know that with ANY spring type click wrench the low capability should be 20% of max even if dial will indicate a lower setting.
