First off, I bought this dash cam from E-prance on Ebay. They do sell it there as well. That being said, this is the second dash cam that I've purchased, the first being the Q7 dash cam I got from Amazon. This cam is excellent and well worth the extra money spent on it. The video quality is excellent - clear, crisp, colors are accurate, and it is well built. It is a bit larger than other dash cams out there but I was willing to trade bigger size for better video quality. The mount is sturdy, and the package even comes with an HDMI cable.
As far as video options, just read the description. I shoot in 720p @30FPS and it's plenty for what I need. It retains the quality and is not a crop of the center of the sensor like some other dash cams tend to do. The movies are in MOV format and it's easy to connect it up to the computer as a removable device if you'd like to use the provided microUSB to USB connector. My MAC recognized it and mounted it as a removable drive without problems. I tend to just remove the microSD card directly out of the cam and use the provided adapter to plug it into my computer for download.
I've tested this camera with a Sandisk 32gb Class 10 microSD card and it performs flawlessly. No stuttering of video whatsoever. I've yet to see any real heat issues with this cam either. It gets warm but not hot. I've not seen any blurring of the video when the camera warms up, something that was a problem with its predecessors.
The most important thing that made me keep this camera, unlike the previous purchase, is that the video is crisp, clear, and I can read license plates should I need to. The lens is of high quality and there is no blurring at the edges. It has a low F-stop lens making it ideal for filming in low light.
Finally, the audio quality is pretty good. I could hear raindrops on the windshield, conversations in the car, and even the engine revving. The audio can be turned off if you don't want it.
I highly recommend this dash cam. I did not need GPS nor speed info on my recordings for obvious reasons. You won't be disappointed.
