Needed to upgrade my stereo in my 2001 Impala. Double Din was the way to go, so it would look good in the dash. I chose this unit because Sony has always been my electronics brand of choice, and it has all the features I wanted. The install was pretty straight-forward, but I would not do it yourself if you have no experience. The Bluetooth feature works great with my iPhone 5. Now having a wireless stereo makes my life easier, as I have used a cassette adapter for years. Syncing to the phone was seamless, and the sound quality is perfect. Even FM radio stations sound 100x better than my old stock head unit. If you have a newer car I would recommend a computer interface as well as the wiring harness, because this retains most of the car's features such as chimes, blind spot warnings and rear view camera alerts.
